EVENT CANCELLATION OR DELAY OF RACE: NO REFUNDS NO COMP's Entry fees are not transferable to another person. Transferring your application is considered Fraud. ID is required at packet pick-up. If you register on-line after the race is posted ‘closed’ your entry fee will be credited back to your card less a $50.00 processing fee. There is a $50.00 charge for returned checks or declined credit card. Selling your race slot or transfer of your slot is strictly prohibited! If you sell or transfer your race slot, you will be disqualified from the event and you, as well as the racer who used your slot will be unable to race in another of our races for a minimum of 5 years. Additionally, we will report the infraction to USA Triathlon, which may subject to you to further sanctions. NO COMPLIMENTARY TICKET TO FOLLOWING YEARS RACE: We are a non-profit race and run very close to the belt. We will not and can not comp your race application to the following year race. Please Note: That on any returned checks there will be a $75 charge and Canadian checks there will be added fee up to $50.

Sprint first at 8:00 then 1st Tin @ 8:10What is the water temperature? Average water temperature 68 – 72 degreesAre wet suits allowed? Wet suits are allowed (and recommended this year) as long as water temperature is below 78 degrees. Tinted goggles also suggested.Are Booties and Hoods allowed: Yes only Neoprene booties and hoods are allowed. Are Gloves Allowed: NO gloves are never legal. See USAT rules for more info. What time does race start? First wave out at 8:00 am SPRINT is FIRST wave out. First Full 8:10Is it required to have a USAT Triathlon card and number? Not at this time but if you do not have one you must pay a $10 one day fee.Are OAT (Canada) numbers acceptable? No. According to USAT they have stopped accepting OAT or Canada cards. For more information please contact USAT.What is there to drink at the Aid Stations- Smart Water at all bike stations, Cup water on the Run, Gatorade on the Bike and Run course. What food is there at each aid station- There will be bananas and Oranges at each station. Run and finish line will have pretzels.
How many aid stations is there on the course?Swim: 1 station located at the end of Finish Bike: There are 5 aid station on the Full Tinman course. Bike: There is 1 aid station on the Sprint Distance Tinman location at the bike turnaround Run: There are 9 Stations with 3 being out and back stations total 12 aid stations on the Full Tinman course. Run: There are 4 stations with 1 being out and back total 5 stations on the Sprint course Transition: There is 1 stations within the Transition 1 located on the way out of the run Finish Line: 1 station at the Finish Line. Can I use my own chip? Yes, please bring it to registration and see Michele Cote Race Director to have your number registered with timing to be used.Will there be online results after the race? Said to be a challenging course.Are there any Lake Placid USA Iron man slots? NO, Ironman has denied slots for the last several years. No other information is available or contact IronmanHow many splits are in the timing? 5 splits will be in place 2007Cut Off Times? We will never leave till the last athlete goes by. There is a sag wagon on Bike and Run. A boat will follow the last swimmer. Product will be out but aid stations will close on the bike as the last biker comes through. Run course will close aid stations at approx 4:00 p.m. Product will be left. Sag wagon will follow. There will always be someone at the park and finish line waiting to cheer you on in.
